Our commitment to quality
Deckloop is an educational platform. We're committed to providing accurate, helpful, and appropriate content
for learners.
Types of content on Deckloop
Curated public decks
Our public deck library (GCSE subjects, language courses, etc.) is curated and reviewed for quality before
publication. We aim for accuracy and alignment with official curricula, but we recommend you always verify
important information against official materials.
AI-generated content
When you ask our AI to generate flashcards, the content is created automatically. While we tune our AI for
accuracy:
- AI can make mistakes or produce inaccurate information
- We recommend verifying AI-generated content against trusted sources
- For exam preparation, always cross-reference with official materials
User-generated content
When you create your own decks or upload materials, you are responsible for the content. Your private decks
are not reviewed by Deckloop staff.
Prohibited content
The following content is not permitted on Deckloop:
- Illegal content: Content that violates laws in the UK or your jurisdiction
- Harmful content: Content promoting self-harm, violence, or dangerous activities
-
Hate speech: Content attacking individuals or groups based on protected characteristics
- Explicit content: Pornographic or sexually explicit material
- Harassment: Content designed to harass, bully, or intimidate others
-
Misinformation: Deliberately false or deceptive content that could cause harm (for
example, health or safety misinformation)
-
Personal data and doxxing: Sharing personal information about someone else without their
permission (such as addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, student IDs, or other identifying details)
-
Academic dishonesty: Leaked exam papers, answer keys, or content intended to help someone
cheat on an assessment
-
Copyright infringement: Content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights
Accuracy and verification
For important use cases like exam preparation:
- Verify facts against official textbooks and exam board materials
- Report any inaccuracies you find in public decks
- Treat AI-generated content as a starting point, not the final word
Copyright and takedowns
If you believe content on Deckloop infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please
contact us at
support@deckloop.io with:
- Your name and contact details
- A link (URL) or clear description of where the content appears
- A description of the work you believe has been infringed
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised
We will review and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the reported content. We may also take
action against repeat infringers, including suspending accounts.
Reporting issues
If you encounter content that violates this policy, or find factual errors in our public decks, please
report it to
support@deckloop.io.
We review reports promptly and take appropriate action, which may include removing content, limiting
visibility, or suspending accounts. We may take action at our discretion to protect users and the integrity
of the platform.
