You can browse our public decks without an account, but you'll need to sign up to save your progress, create custom decks, and access spaced repetition features.
Every new account starts with a 7-day free trial and no card details upfront. After the trial, Deckloop continues on student-friendly paid plans, while existing beta users keep temporary grace access.
We use the FSRS spaced repetition algorithm. When you review a card, you rate how well you knew it. The algorithm then schedules the next review at the optimal time to maximise retention.
Concept Strength groups related cards into concepts and scores each concept from your review outcomes. It helps you spot weak topics and study strategically (it becomes more meaningful after you've reviewed some cards).
Practice Tests generate a timed quiz from a deck using reviewed cards only, so you're testing knowledge you've already seen. You choose the question type (mixed, MCQ-only, or flashcard-only) and unlock longer 10, 20, and 40-question tests as you review more cards. After the test, review what you missed and retest weak concepts.
Yes! You can create cards manually, or let our AI generate them from a topic prompt, PDFs, YouTube videos, websites (URLs), or any text notes you provide.
Yes, but only in the installed Progressive Web App (PWA). Offline downloads do not work from a regular browser tab. Install Deckloop with Add to Home Screen on iPhone/iPad or the install prompt in Chrome/Edge, then download the decks you want available offline.
Deckloop uses the voices already installed on your device/browser. For better audio in different languages, install higher-quality voices in your OS settings first, then reopen Deckloop to select or auto-pick them.
For our curated public decks, all content is reviewed by subject experts. For user-generated decks, we encourage you to verify facts, especially for exam preparation.
Our AI is tuned to prioritise accuracy and cites sources where possible. However, AI can make mistakes. For important exams, we recommend cross-referencing with your official materials.
Yes. You can optionally generate a clean illustration for a card, add an AI image later, or replace a sourced image with AI if the original is not helping. Deckloop can also extract diagrams/tables directly from your PDF. Open-licensed images include automatic attribution, and AI-generated images are clearly marked.
To delete your account and all associated data, email us at contact@deckloop.io with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We'll verify your identity and process the deletion within 48 hours. All your decks, cards, study history, and personal data will be permanently removed.
To request a copy of your personal data, email us at contact@deckloop.io with the subject "Data Export Request". We'll provide your data in a machine-readable format (JSON) within 30 days, as required by GDPR.
